Lawson Tyre and Autocare - The new name for Oxford Garage

2026 has been an exciting year for us here at Oxford Garage which saw the transfer of the business from Kieron Snr to Richard Hudson becoming part of the Lawson Tyre & Autocare group along sites in Middlesbrough and Stokesley. 

This change will have gone on unnoticed by the majority of our customers as ther than our name changing everyting and allowing Kieron Snr some well earned time off, everything here at Oxford Garage remains the same - other than the name.

The garage is still manaaged by Kieron Knr and supported by the same fantastic team who have been here for years, ensuring you the best possible service for years to come in Hurworth. 

What has changed, and we think for the the better,  is that any car sales is now offered by our sister site, Lawson Cars in Middlesbrough and if you pop down you might see a familar face, this means we more time and space to focus solely on repairs, servicing, tyres and maintainance here in Hurworth. 

With our inclusion into Lawson Tyre and Autocare we can now offer car spraying, painting and bodywork, vehicle sales, ADAS repairs and cosmetic repairs all through Hurworth.
