Lawson Tyre and Autocare - The new name for Oxford Garage
An Exciting New Chapter for Oxford Garage
2026 has been an exciting year for us here at Oxford Garage, marking an important new chapter in our history as the business has transferred from Kieron Snr to Richard Hudson and become part of the Lawson Tyre & Autocare Group, alongside our sites in Middlesbrough and Stokesley.
For the majority of our customers, this change may have gone largely unnoticed. Apart from the name, very little has changed here at Oxford Garage — other than giving Kieron Snr some well-earned time off!
The garage continues to be managed by Kieron Jnr, supported by the same fantastic team who have been looking after our customers and their vehicles for many years. Our commitment remains exactly the same: providing you with the highest possible standard of service and workmanship here in Hurworth.
One of the changes we believe will be a real benefit to our customers is that our car sales operation is now being handled by our sister company, Lawson Cars in Middlesbrough. If you visit the site, you may even see a familiar face!
This allows us to dedicate even more time, space and resources here in Hurworth to what we do best — vehicle servicing, repairs, MOTs, tyres and general vehicle maintenance.
Being part of the Lawson Tyre & Autocare Group also means we can now offer our customers access to an even wider range of services, including vehicle bodywork, painting and repairs, vehicle sales, ADAS calibration and repairs, and cosmetic repairs, all through our wider group.
While our name may have changed, our team, our commitment and our focus on looking after our customers remain the same.
