Anti-freeze protection for the radiator
Problems with the cooling system are directly or indirectly responsible for most winter breakdowns. Keeping a regular check on the anti-freeze is just as important as an oil change for ensuring that your car does not beak down during the winter period. The additives contained in the coolant and ultimately responsible for protecting the cooling system start to lose their effect over the course of time and there is even a danger of freezing in winter. The coolant should therefore be changed at regular intervals to avoid water pump damage, radiator corrosion, clogged pipes or problems with the engine electronics.
